About four years ago we replaced the old van when we had to have it towed twice in one week and spent $1100 on repairs that week. I got to the point I didn't trust it and didn't want to drive it further away from home than I could walk. It's funny how they really do become a part of the family, transporting one to and from so many memories and routine trips down the road. I had to chuckle at the striped seats, I would have been just as disappointed initially. This was a fun story to read!
